All of this advice about how people behave and think and how you should act and move accordingly because of them, but not enough advice on how to foster lifelong peace and acceptance with being happily alone, single, and secure that you’re perfectly content with not ever being in any romantic relationship again ever but also being appreciative if you are in one but also-also knowing that if it doesn’t work out you’ll still be perfectly fine, whole, fulfilled, and content with life regardless.

a bio i have on some random dating app but i’ll post it here because i genuinely want to know people’s responses to any or all of them and no one has attempted to engage with it:

i attempt to play mind reader and assume what others are thinking of me because of the words i write in online social spaces.
but i’ve been recognizing for awhile that the only person attempting to assume anything about me because of my own words is ME.
so i acknowledge it. reflect on it for a brief moment. take a deep breath. remind myself not to be so judgmental of my own words because I know my heart and spirit and to write exactly how I envisioned the words in my mind.
